Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Campbell is a Professional Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering in 1982, and upon graduation was involved in numerous oil and gas companies including Amoco Canada, Canadian Hunter Exploration, Serenpet Inc., and Cody Energy Canada Limited. Most recently Mr. Campbell held the position of Executive Vice President (Country Manager) at Seneca Energy Canada Inc. At Seneca, he was responsible for setting the corporate direction, managing the entire Canadian operation, and negotiating the sale of the company in August 2007.
Prior to this assignment, Mr. Campbell was a co- founder in Avid Oil and Gas Ltd. At Avid, Mr. Campbell served as Vice President of Operations and was instrumental in building the company to more than 6,000 boe per day production before its sale to Husky Energy Inc. Mr. Campbell is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists, and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) and is active in a variety of community projects.
